Seeing these makes me so happy!
Yeah, I know how that games go of choosing one thing over the other. I could have probably gotten 2060 Super, but went with a NVME 500 GB SSD instead.
Oh nice system, what are the specs besides the 2080ti?
Yep, it’s curved.
Here is my setup.
Oh that’s a beast! I’d love to build a threadripper system but can’t justify the cost. Nor would I be able to utilize it.
What monitor is that?
If I had to do it all over again, I probably wouldn’t do a threadripper build. I just don’t utilize it. The 1950X had just released at that time and I was ready to replace my older i7 3930k system. The monitor is an Alienware AW34DW, their 3440 x 1440p ultrawide.
Yeah, that was the same thought I had on the threadripper. While it would be cool to have, it wouldn’t get utilized by me.
I have the same monitor. Are you able to overclock yours without screen tearing?
I haven’t actually ever tried to overclock it. I have been very happy with how it preforms already and with G-SYNC enabled, haven’t seen a need to try.
Nice Rig and Monitor! Just a question on cable management, is it difficult in the case you have?
Most of my cables are hidden on the other side of the case where the SSDs are mounted so in that regard, cable management is pretty good. I’m terrible at cable management though so its a bit amazing I don’t have more cables going all over the place inside the case hahaha.
I have something very simple. My case, a corsair carbide 200r, doesn’t even has a window. It is not like I couldn’t make something fancy, but I am 31 and I got over that sort of thing.
In anycase.
