    @Vknid

    I’m pretty sure my dad had that game on the old computer back in the day and he was enjoying it until he got stuck on some level and wasn’t able to progress any further.

        Honestly, it was an entertaining movie. Some possible spoilers ahead…

        Firstly, I don’t think this film is “woke garbage”. When you consider the historical context of events including the patriarchal nature of Native American society and the ill treatment of natives by colonialists the characters behaved as you’d expect.

        The lead character had a good story arc. She wasn’t a “Mary Sue” in my opinion. The story painted a picture of someone who always knew she was meant for something more than traditional roles and was working toward that long before the events of the film. Her incompetence was even highlighted at least twice in the film, she only took things to the next level after the tragedy near the end. It was a case of exceptional circumstances pushing an individual to the next level, totally relatable if not realistic.

        The biggest issue for me was the cheapness of the production. The CGI and the Predator’s costume were atrocious.

        Otherwise, the story was good, the pacing was a little off but managed to keep my interest.

        Would I watch it again? Probably not, it’s a good popcorn flick but there’s nothing special here. I give it a 6/10.

        I’m not watching a movie that people say: “well, if you ignore the first 45min and turn off your brain, the movie is pretty decent”

        is this a new thing? pretending that we’re watching a movie but in reality, we’re sleeping or just using the smartphone, ignoring the movie just so it feels it’s not a bad movie? what a waste of time… I rather re-watch a great movie then… a classic.

        i dunno… the quality standards nowadays are extremely low.

        And if we don’t like it then we’re bigots, sexists, etc etc…

        edit: I’m not saying this movie sucks, i didn’t watch it. I saw the trailer and read reviews and nothing picked my attention… saw nothing interesting. maybe if I saw more positive reviews i would give it a shot… but most reviews were: “ignore half of the money” lol like… :/

        Well, I liked the movie. “shrug”. All the comparisons to the first Predator are irrelevant. It’s a different time, a different situation, and different characters.

        Spoilers Ahead!

        She wasn’t a Mary Sue like Rey or all the freakin’ Marvel women are now. She had flaws and struggles. She was even beaten up by her own tribe members, which I found surprising was even in the movie. I cannot stand woke culture and all the modern feminism trash, but this movie really did not scream any of that. I have seen the takes of all the Friday Night Tights people, and I disagree with them. Honestly, sometimes I think those folks have a hard time enjoying much of anything because they are looking for content to bitch about in their next video.

        Was it a bit outlandish? Yes. But, so was the original Predator wasn’t it? Yes. It got pretty ridiculous. So was Predator 2. The rest of the movies don’t deserve a mention imo.

        I did NOT find the movie slow or boring at all. I don’t need explosions and shit happening left and right. I found the pacing good and it fit the journey of the story being told. I liked all the nature and surroundings. The cinematography was utterly fantastic sometimes.

        I am hard to please with entertainment, more so now days with all the agenda’s being shoved into every facet of entertainment. But, I enjoyed this movie enough that I will buy it in 4K, and that says something.

        And now that you mention that, I’m waiting for Disney to come out and say Billy was a descendant of Naru because you know it’s coming.
