The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman. At least I enjoy it.
Omega force by Joshua Dalzelle. Currently 11 books he is working on book 12 follows a US airman who gets taken on a space going vessel and by the end of book one is its captain. Campy mercenary missions that build on an overreaching story.
He has another series called Black Fleet that just dropped book 7
And just last year started a spinoff series in the Omega universe where Erath is brought into the greater galaxy I think book 1 of that was called Marine. I havent started this yet.
warhammer 40k The Horus Heresy.
Too many to mention.
But an idea of what I have, here is one section of my personal library.
Magic from a Dark World….(shameless plug)
I’ve just finished reading the Desert Spear by Peter Brett which is part of the painted man series. I’m also reading Les Miserables. It’s a damn long book but it’s a good story. What makes it long is that Victor Hugo tends to ramble on about things not relevant to the plot for about 10 to 20 pages.
The Orphan X series by Gregg Hurwitz.
The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton.
The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides.
That Megalodon movie? Had no idea it was a book. Might need to check that out.
