Recast Luke Skywalker for Mandalorian era

Who would be the ideal person to replace young Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker.  I think he needs to be reintroduced. I also think nobody would care if Disney ignored the sequel trilogy and made a split timeline so Luke can be more successful in his quest to restore the Jedi.  I’m homing thats what’s going to happen because it would excite Star Wars fans who were invested in that plotline from RotJ that was completely botched in the sequels.
