So from what I gather RockStar has all but abandoned RD2 online. What a shame this is because it is a GORGEOUS game and done so well. I play online with my daughter from time to time and it is a hoot. The game is now suffering from crashes and disconnects but it is still fun and I just enjoy the eye candy and the western theme.
I do hope they pick it back up.

December 13, 2022 at 10:10 am #289209Yes, you can play in both modes. That being online multi-player and offline single player. But they have stopped updating and developing the online multiplayer as far as I understand it.

December 13, 2022 at 11:04 am #289217My friend has this on PS4 but doesn’t go on the online mode. She really likes the game despite some glitches that she’s came across😂. Would’ve gotten the first one but it was PS3 only.
December 13, 2022 at 3:51 pm #289241On PC it’s an awesome game. I play the online mode with my daughter and it’s fun and engaging. The coolest thing is how gorgeous the game is. I take screenshots all the time and make them backgrounds. I keep meaning to go back and finish the single player. Probably will wait until I get a new GPU so it looks even more awesome.
