Anyone else watching Resident Alien? It’s actually surprisingly good. It’s from Mike Sheriden who worked on Family Guy (so it’s JJ Abrams and Alex Kurtzman free), and it stars Alan Tudyk, based on the Peter Hogan and Steve Parkhouse comic.
February 1, 2021 at 7:35 pm #207699I tried but it’s not my thing… gave up after watching 15min. I believe it’s going to be full of wokeness and white men hating jokes, unfortunately.
But if you can ignore it and enjoy it, great. ;)
February 1, 2021 at 8:58 pm #207704Really? I watched it twice and I didn’t hear any man hating jokes. They did go down the road of the whole “getting away from the abusive ex” trope, but I really didn’t think that was particularly woke. But if it’s not your thing, then it’s not your thing.
