I don’t even know where to start. Following the passing of wrestling icon Terry Funk at age 79, news broke out and was later confirmed Triple H via his Twitter/X account that Windham Rotunda, better known to wrestling fans and personalities as Bray Wyatt, has also sadly and unexpectedly passed away at age 36. I was literally watching one of Ryan Kinel’s vids, shout out to Ryan Kinel btw, when I caught wind of Bray’s passing. I did not want to believe it. It came out of nowhere. Granted, Terry Funk’s was very sad and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends, but Bray Wyatt’s sudden passing hits even harder for me personally. I watched as he made in ring debut during his Husky Harris phase, and then the Bray Wyatt character came around and captivated the wrestling world. We saw the Wyatt Family debut with Rotunda, Brodie Lee(Luke Harper) and Erick Rowan and then Braun Strowman came into the mix. I think Bray Wyatt’s crowning moment came when he won the WWE Championship at Elimination Chamber in 2017. Later on, Bray introduced the Fiend character and won the Universal Championship in late 2019. He got released from WWE in 2021 but returned in 2022 to much fanfare as he should have because he was such popular act overall. I feel like the world is a lesser place now with Bray’s passing, especially considering he leaves behind his wife JoJo and their four kids. Yes, this one certainly hits hard. All I can say from here is thank you, Windham Rotunda for all you’ve given the pro wrestling community. We’re going to miss you but you won’t ever be forgotten. We love you. Rest In Peace.

    Follow… the Angels.
