Saddest moments in anime (WARNING SPOILERS, you have been warned)

For me , one of the saddest anime of all is Graveyard of the Fireflies. There are so many moments in this movie that will make go for the Kleenex tissues. Over the course of the film, we watch Setsuko become sicker and sicker due to malnourishment. Eventually, the lack of food catches up with her, to the point when she starts using mud to make rice balls.
