Walking away: San Francisco mall owner hands property back to bank as exodus continues

Shopping center giant Westfield is walking away from its San Francisco Centre mall, becoming the latest major company to leave the California city amid rampant crime problems.

Crime is that self-inflicted by DEMon policies/DAs.

“Given the challenging operating conditions in downtown San Francisco, which have led to declines in sales, occupancy and foot traffic, we have made the difficult decision to begin the process to transfer management of the shopping center to our lender to allow them to appoint a receiver to operate the property going forward.”

And don’t forget the crime, shoplifters, drugs, homeless, etc. and the policies that only increase them.

…move comes less than a week after … two prominent hotels (where handed back) to the bank.

…saying the city’s streets are unsafe and expressing doubts about the area’s ability to recover.

Needles and poop all over the place, and all as a direct result of the policies that only increase them.

“Another massive loss for the worst managed city in America. What’s scary is we’re nowhere near the bottom.”

Recall, Gary (Nerdrotic) had his wife’s very successful hair saloon forced closed as a result of those policies, IIRC.

Between the city and the states policies, no wonder people who can and businesses are fleeing.

If our society is currently affected by a gangrenous rot, then that degradation of our fabric began in California.

Makes you wonder if this is not an orchestrated attempt by the powers that be to drive people out and land prices down.

Then, snap up properties for next to nothing hit the reset button and voilà…welcome to New Commieforinia.

It should not at all shock you that is not the first time I have heard that assertion.  On the skirts of it, I am sure it sounds crazy.  But this is essentially what is happening with the farmers in the Netherlands. They are making up some BS rules to drive out all the farmers so they can do something with the land.  And interestingly enough it was spoken about before that farm stuff ever happened. It’s called “TriState City”.

31And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours. 32And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it. 33And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.

        Checks out.

And another leaves the cesspool that is San Fran.

San Francisco loses another large downtown business as city’s troubles mount

Cinemark Holdings, Inc. is shuttering its downtown San Francisco

theater, becoming the latest major firm to high-tail it out of the troubled California city.

“Cinemark can confirm it has decided to permanently close the Century San Francisco Centre 9 and XD theater shortly before the conclusion of its lease term following a comprehensive review of local business conditions,” a spokesperson for the company..

I don’t fault them at all.

San Francisco Republican Party Chairman John Dennis blamed progressive policies for running businesses out of town, telling FOX Business San Francisco is “the worst managed city in America.”

        It is sure up there.

But California Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna… that despite crime problems the claims of a “mass exodus” of businesses from San Francisco are not true, and the major tech hub is thriving.

The corporations/technocrats are, but not the average employee(s).

These are the biggest tech layoffs impacting the S.F. Bay Area

Massive layoffs have become rampant within the tech industry over the last several months as the job market now faces a major contraction after years of over-hiring during the pandemic.

What number are we looking at?

The Bay Area, in particular, has been hit hard as Meta, Google, Twitter and other regionally-based tech companies have forced an estimated 100,000 people out of their jobs.

And that does not look at the working/living conditions those workers had to face, including where in May 2019 the median market rent for a one-bedroom apartment was at a staggering $3,700 per month.

So with crime, drugs, homelessness, and then all your wages to pay for rent…

Welcome slaves, you will be happy with what your overlords give you.

You will own nothing of your own.

You live only to serve the corporations.

Welcome to San Fran, a model DEMon controlled city/state.
