Modern Feminism can be summed up as so and that She Hulk scene proves it.
Please imagine these being said in a shrill scream for maximum effect.

“STOP OBJECTIFYING ME!!!!!!!”
.
“WHY IS NO ONE ONE OBJECTIFYING ME!!!!!!!”
I scroll thru and did not even see the scene. The show is just too cringe, as are most things now. Dave Cullen is too well-spoken for this. Saw Chato say the same thing, that he will not even be reviewing it anymore. America has been debased and degenerated so much, that when I hear “the soul of the nation,” I probably do think of twerking. It’s how low things have sunk. They shake it in your face as hyperinflation leads to mass evictions.
” America has been debased and degenerated so much”
Very true. There has been a controlled demolition of morality for decades now. I started to notice it in the early 90’s when I was a young guy. I heard older folks at the time talk about it but I tended to think it was just the typical progression of society. But as many young folks are, I was very wrong. The death of morality is 100% intentional.
HOWEVER, all is not lost. Not even close. Yes they want us to think there is no sense in fighting so we accept their world but what has been lost can be regained. A Renaissance of morality and values can happen. Will it? I don’t know but I hope so. But it only happens if good folks try.

Marvel: We’re not going to objectify women in our films and TV series anymore.
Also Marvel: We’re going to have She-Hulk twerking and shaking her bootie!
Me: I’m soooo confused…
But it’s fine to objectify men because no-one complains about it! Look at the whole marketing surrounding ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ with THAT scene! Oh and poor Cap’s butt on She-Hulk’s lock screen as well.
I found that whole they/it-hulk scene disgusting/revolting. 🤮
If I recall correctly, there was a politician twerking for votes as well. These people are muy loco in la cabeza.

I think the catch is to not see female characters as objects of sex only, like their only role is to be there to look good. That doesn’t mean they should always dress up covering until their ankles. We can use a male counterpart like Thor, he is shirtless often and people comment on his looks so he is in a sense ”objectified”, if you will. But it’s not the whole gimmick of character.
But I do agree the scene was a bit cringe but it is what it is.
I agree with your summation.
But clearly anyone who ONLY sees a person or a character as a sexual object is a total knob. This ,however, is not most people and the radical feminists want NO objectification. But this is counter to human beings wants and needs. Everyone wants to be desired, wanted or needed on multiple levels. That’s not to say someone wants to be only a single thing to any one person really but you get the gist.
Personally speaking, it seems me those decrying objectification most are those not able to harness the power of the natural gift of attractiveness. You see plenty of folks who use objectification to their full benefit on a daily basis to get attention, gain advantage or make money. This goes for both men and women but obviously that power is strongest when used by ladies with men. That is the natural state of things and there is nothing wrong with it so long as it is not abused.
But in this arena lets not overlook the cognitive dissonance of complaining about objectification and also calling stripping and prostitution empowering. And that is the level of crazy this show is.

well the thing is if someone has the looks and capabilities to make money through onlyfans or stripping then go ahead and pop off if that’s your choice. The conversation about objectifying is usually when a man wants to hire someone who is good looking and has big titties for fan service to a male audience, thus creating a false image of women.
I hear a lot of these ”ohh first feminists want not to be sexualized but then they support free the nipple and dressing like sluts, that’s so contradicting” when the point is to let the woman as an individual to have the choice to be a stripper if they want, but don’t sexualize or objectify them just by their looks.
That argument is all over the place because it exhibits the exact same Schizophrenia that lead me to create the post. Yes is it absolute hypocrisy to say objectification is bad but it’s cool when I can make bank off it.
I mean you literally just said ” let the woman as an individual to have the choice to be a stripper if they want, but don’t sexualize or objectify them just by their looks”.
You do realize that statement is crazy right since that is the reason for the existence of a stripper?
As I already stated emphatically, of course it is bad to treat a person as just a sexual object in any context. But that is not at all what feminists are waging war on.

I was a bit unclear, in ”don’t sexualize or objectify them by their looks” I didn’t mean strippers, I meant good looking women with huge milkers.

I don’t think it is. The point is don’t objectify or make conclusions based on looks, like thinking they are sluts or strippers because they dress certain way or do their makeup certain way.
Another example of the same thought experiment is if a tall black guy who is a basketball players claims ”I don’t like when everyone assumes tall black people are basketball players”, when he himself is one. It’s about the right to make the choice and not get labeled or objectified from the get-go.
You are conflating objectification with stereotyping, those are 2 different things.
But you are missing the point where many feminists decry any objectification on one hand and promote “Sex work” on the other.
Just like this show. Complains about “cat calling” in one episode and then twerks in another.

So what? Twerking with MtS doesn’t justify cat calling. Just because someone supports sex work doesn’t mean they are property of other and it’s okay to be objectified.
I am going to stop replying to you now because you are just off in the weeds saying things that have little to do with what was said.
