The Star Wars movie Solo was a flop. Rey-(Ky)Lo: people who are fans of Kylo Ren and Rey’s story in the sequels are weird

Just finished Attack of the Clones (boring love story about Anakin being a simp) and even these Lucas prequels seem better than what I keep hearing about the Disney trilogy lol.
July 11, 2020 at 10:42 am #177396I don’t know how Solo could have ever made back its money with all the drama regarding Kennedy waiting until the film was (supposedly) 90% complete to replace its original directors. That and the casting of Aldenreich over MacGruber hurt it sumthin’ fierce. I had been waiting on a solo Solo movie since I was like five years old when I mistook one of those old novels as a video cover which I saw in passing as my mother dragged me around K-mart.

July 11, 2020 at 3:53 pm #177439To the OP, Reylos are a group of very vocal fans, seemingly separate from all other groups of Star Wars fans, who worship the idea of Kylo Ren and Rey (fictional Star Wars characters) becoming a romantic couple. They are so obsessed with it, that it affects their daily lives, as some reportedly could not work for days after seeing Rise Of Skywalker, from the emotional distress they suffered from it.
Since you seem to be just starting to watch the Star Wars movies, I won’t give away the spoilers lol;) but after the Rise of Skywalker movie was released, many Reylos issued death threats to the director and some of the actors, for the outcome of the story.
Hence the “they are weird” commentary.
But on a side note, I do have sympathy for anyone unfortunate enough to have watched Rise of Skywalker,…
