October 30, 2022 at 8:27 am #285404This all sounds nice, but much of it is rumor and speculation. So, we’ll wait and see. I worry that wokeness will infest it and ruin what they have going.
I personally have been a SM fan since I was a kid buying the comics. I would love to see more quality SM.

I would very much like to hope for the best, I too am a huge Spiderman fan….from the day I was born to the day I die.
No way home was decent, into the spiderverse was great, and I’m one of the few who enjoyed Venom. If they keep going this direction…we may be OK, as you said well see. But…Spiderman being a superhero, and a Marvel product, I don’t expect spidey to survive the infection too much longer….but one can always hope.
October 30, 2022 at 1:18 pm #285420Since Spidy is still part of Sony and Sony hasn’t gone full on woke with the Spidy films, I think there’s some hope. I’m not a Spidy fan but I can respect what they tried with the Sam Remi films (minus the third film but maybe I’m making too many comparisons to Tom Hardy’s version of Venom😂!) and I too enjoyed the Venom films. I’m more interested in what the Venom-verse is going to show in the next few years than the MCU.
