Star Trek: Picard shuts down after 50 test positive for COVID-19

Filming has been suspended since Monday, the show’s first day back from the holiday hiatus…

50?  how many staff where there?

The Paramount Plus series reportedly has one of the biggest crews working in television today, with over 450 people on set.

    so over 11% tested positive.

Sources claim filming could resume early next week, perhaps even sooner, though no official timetable was given.

Picard films in Los Angeles, where the omicron variant of COVID-19 has been spreading quickly throughout the metropolis.

As it has everywhere else in the world.

    So sad “sarcasm”.

Most likely it is all Omicron and really nothing to worry about. It’s not much different than the normal flu.
