I am a big sci-fi fan in general but Star Trek is my favorite of that genre.
Has anyone read any good Trek books they can recommend?
I have been wanting to give a couple of those a spin.
Thanks.
The Dr. WHO/Star trek TNG crossover comic was decent.
I got two:
and
The first is the first time the enterprise leaves for its maiden voyage, and before it was given its identification numbers, etc.
The second is Kirk’s first time behind the captain’s chair on the Enterprise.
Both were written at a time they respected the lore and the characters.
For an atypical Star Trek storyline try this one:
Read the novels for Star Trek 3 and 4. It goes into storylines that weren’t in the movie. Such as Spock got Saavik pregnant when she helped him with the Pan farr on the Genesis planet. And Sulu seeing his ancestors on earth when they were in San Francisco.
Strange, how Kirk is the Lady’s man, and yet it is SPOCK with all the offspring.
And here is another story about Spock getting a son.
These are the sequel to the ST: TOS episode “All Our Yesterdays.”
I’m almost offended that you haven’t directly asked me this
My bad! I did not know you were a huge Trek fan! Absolutely please let me know your suggestions. I love me some Trek but I have not at all explored books yet.
Also, thank you everyone for your suggestions. I am going to start picking up some books.
