Recently stubbed upon the Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds strategy at GOG. Hell of a game. Played it for a long time in its prime. Lovingly crafted, yet not as shiny as EaW. Still can be played online with some 3rd party software.

I tried it years back but never got totally into it. That’s not me saying it isn’t great just my woeful lack of commitment to this one.

I recently dug out my disc copy of Galactic Battleground (I have the version with the Clone Era expansion) and loaded it up on my laptop. Brought back so many good memories of the early 2000s. The sound effects, the music, the voice overs…it took me to a happier place in time.
