Thoughts on the anime version of Star Wars titled: VISIONS? :S

    #201038

I’m curious to see what it’s all about. They will be shorts too which… Idk how short? Do they mean a “normal” anime running time 20mins? Or…. 10-15 mins tops?

For me it depends on the style, I have seen a fan made Star Wars Anime that focused on space combat and it looked amazing. I’ll be tuning in to see what this series is about, because it can be done well.

Just came out. Theory had a watch party. Not seen it yet, but it’s out.
Some are complaining that the episodes are too short, but I prefer it. Just tell the story. No matter the length.
Interesting comments on Theory’s video. Fans say that this project will probably bring more westerners to be fans of anime. They see it as that instead of bringing more fans to Star Wars.

I read some reviews, most people were saying it’s too childish.

The Duel // Star Wars: Visions Reaction S1 Ep1

      Alyska

An homage to the Star Wars franchise’s inspiration from early Westerns and Akira Kurosawa films, The Duel has a Force-wielding ronin protecting a small town from raiders. It employs a muted color scheme, mostly black and white with a dash of colour for dramatic effect.

i just saw the duel, HOLY CRAP what a great start to a series. the way they did it all the homages to kurosawa films, the setting everything was spot on. i do agree somewhat it was way to short but i think in this instance that is ok, it allows for them to just tell a story not much else. This story was awesome and the build up to it was great. i dont know about the other episodes yet but this was freaking awesome.

Agree with him. It was like elevator pitches for concepts of shows.

Splinter of the Mind’s Eye is a 1978 science-fiction novel written by Alan Dean Foster as a sequel to the film Star Wars. One thing in reality to say about crystals is that supposedly, power thru a lattice structure of a crystal is a concept used for anti-gravity?

I just watched Star Wars Visions and I enjoyed it. Although it didn’t feel like Star Wars. But at least, it’s better the disney trilogy. Although I some problems with it and there some stories that I don’t like within Star Wars Visions. Well I used to have some problems with it. But not anymore since a wise man told that the shorts are set in their own universe. Which I’ll tolerant.

The elder is honestly one of the creepiest sith characters we’ve gotten in awhile! He has that same demonic presence that Sidious had

For some reason, the elder really strikes me as a character. There’s just something off-putting about him. He’s almost like a human dark side version of Yoda in my opinion

Alternative visions for Star Wars from fans. This guy Costa is talented. One thing Star Wars would be wise to get right is to allow fan films, fan fiction and fans to kind of create and make Star Wars open source.
