Has anybody here tried the ne Street fighter & what are your thoughts? Am I the only one that hates how “Modern Audience” this game feels?
Street Fighter 6, Why do I hate this Game when everybody loves it?
This is NOT Street Fighter. This is Modern day gamBing for the contemporary millennial audience. I thoroughly HATED Street Fighter 6 from start to finish. I hate millennial culture & the way they operate. Everything is a JOKE. Luke is like a completely lame version of John Cena only I don’t want to see him & he has these bizarre Pop-Eye arms with a strangely Type B model walk & overly plump physique. Compare him to the character model of Ryu that you can play with & against & you’ll see how off Luke looks & feels. Then you have that annoying Jojo Siwa Pink juice kid that is your field guide & trainer… bro just look at my thumbnail, this IS what Capcom turned a once cool & tough game series & took all it’s bite away. It’s all a Joke & none of it was funny. You literally fight PEDESTRIANS to level up & your custom character/avatar is so generic with this Saints Row look & feel to them & then you have the “DRIP” store for your clothing, yes the store is called “DRIPPING” STFU already with all the Millennial BS! I am a cut off Millennial & I HATE this crap. This will be the MOST dated Street Fighter game ever. I don’t know why Capcom tried to target such an annoying gamBer base but, this is a HARD FRIGGING PASS for me. I know a lot of people LOVED the demo & the game WILL sell, but this is how I felt about the game. I just can’t Wait for MORTAL KOMBAT 12. Unless they make it Pedestrian Kombat lol. I hope you enjoyed hearing me rage throughout the video at least. PS: Some people have asked why do I say gamBers & gamBing? It’s simple: In the word dumb, the B is silent, so I inserted & capitalized it in the words gamers & gaming when I think something is Stupid, because online the dumBies are anything But silent. gamBers be gamBing
From the stuff I have seen, trailers and different fights from various characters, etc. This looks like utter crap imo.
I do not enjoy modern fighting games. They are over complicated now. And I mean WAY over complicated, and that takes away any of the fun. Fighting games now just have all these often confusing and stupid mechanics, stuff that’s so hard to do that you can’t even do it. There was a move for the Joker in Injustice 2 that I could NOT do in the training mode where you learn characters moves. I tried and tried, I watched videos, etc. And it was supposed to be normal thing to do. It was just ridiculous. If you are having moves and mechanics in a fighting game you make that a person has to look at instructional video’s on, and STILL can’t do it, then it’s too much.
I liked old stuff like Super Street Fighter 2, Night Warriors & Dark Stalkers, Mortal Kombat 2, Marvel Super Hero’s, Street Fighter Alpha 1 and 2, etc. Those were fun, non complicated fighting games. I played the hell out of them.
The problem with the modern gamBers is that there are the Hardcore that can do anything then you have the ones that want a 10 hit combo by pressing 3 buttons. Unfortunately developers today choose the insta gratification gamBers because they know they can Whale them harder.
Street Fighter 6 has a simplified control option that lets you perform more stylishly by holding down R2 & then pressing another button or 2 & you do some ultra hit combo.
I don’t know what you are talking about in Injustice 2 since I dropped the game after 5hrs of boredom. MK11 had it’s share of frustrating tutorial missions where I could not consecutively pull off certain moves. But the worst example of Over Simplified controls was in Killer Instinct, 4 buttons presses & you did a 20 hit ULTRA combo that made you look frigging amazing.
Regarding Youtube, it’s doing the stupid thing where it’s not suggesting my video: 8 views, 4 Likes, 340 impressions. I guess Street Fighter 6 is not a popular game for the algorithm lol.

THIS. Modern fighting games cater almost entirely to autists, who have the time and nerve to memorize frame data and complicated 20 move combo strings. Classic fighting games were all about positioning, reading your opponent, finding a weakness in their strategy, baiting them into making mistakes. They were psychological games. The controls were simple, combos were more or less limited to 2 moves unless you really exploited some game design flaws. Nowadays no matter how good your positioning and baiting is, those autistic spastics will still win after 2 touches, because everyone who plays online practices their stupid 1 touch death combos for hours and hours. That’s why everone plays one character now. It’s only about memorzing combos string inputs. Back in the old days, people would know how to play almost every character (except dhalsim, who everyone hated to play as).
Modern fighting games are shit, because the audience they cater to is shit. The designers are allowing the retards in the fanbase to take control, while trying to turn the games into an esport. Something so hard to play, that it becomes more fun to watch than to play.
As for the design of SF6, it does scream “current year”. Very bad costume designs. Very dated hiphop aesthetic, which doesnt fit with the design of previous games at all. SF games used to have a timeless design. This feels like Forza, a bunch of Hipsters getting together for a street festival. It’s awful. Some of the new character designs are half decent. Marisa’s moves being inspired by ancient statues is a clever touch and shows some thought behind the design process.
But overall, it’s not for me. It’s for generation autism. Let them have it. Mortal Kombat 12… if 11 was anything to go by, it will be trash as well. Burka Kombat. Tekken 8 might be good.
So the video is getting suggested finally but the thing is, the thumbnail does not look like Street Fighter so it just looks like I’m laughing at some Free To Play MMO characters lol so nobody is clicking it. I guess I have to redo the thumbnail lol.
About Mortal Kombat, sigh, it is an american company employed by a team of people in arrested development. So it’s easy to blame & becoming the norm. Street Fighter is NOT an american made series but they are exploiting the stupidity of the millennial waster/consumer.
Burka Kombat LOL yeah that was pretty bad & their reasoning was stupid. Don’t forget, NONE of these people know anything about fighting. I’ve been in fights & sparring since I was a kid. I loved Combat, I even fought against 2 & 3 people. I had a Knife & gun pulled on me. I know what a fight is & what it feels like. these people don’t, they might have been bullied & hit, but they never fought. In a fight you grab clothes, you use them to your advantage to keep your opponent close & limit their movement. That’s why lots of guys take off their shirts the moment the fight starts. Even women’s wrestling & MMA has them wearing very little & the little they wear is tight. Not frigging gowns & dresses to the ankle like they did with Jaxx’s daughter.
Hey, I ran a test during Black History month:
I would select Robocop every time there was Jaxx as the opponent. I would put the match in AI Battle & 7/10 times Robocop would do a Friendship finisher.
With Jacqui it was 6/10.
But the character that got it the WORST in MK11 was Sheva, bro she was Fugly & boring. She had the least amount of costumes to wear & they all looked drab as hell. Then you had her dialogue…since when did she become the most respected woman of the Universes? Shao Kahn was the best though, he said what we all thought throughout the game “I preferred you with Less clothing” (to sheva).
Why do they know how to make Great villains that are actually likeable & all their regular characters, especially the females are insufferable.
Another female that sucked was Sonya, holy smokes what was up with her clothing?
2 characters that were surprisingly sexy were Jade in her tight 1 piece but body was buttery & Millena. I mean she was the sexiest & most revealing but then you had that mouth… I think they did that on purpose “Oh you want to look at her sexy body, here’s her destroyed face to deal with, with those yellow jaundice eyes. Take that Male Gaze!” lol
I hear Dylan Mulvaney will be the next showrunner of the game LOL
@Wisdom : Hey man, I played as Dhalsim in SF2/SSF2/SSF2 Turbo. And he was fun, but took at lot of patience. lol
But ya, I do not enjoy modern fighting games. I flat out quit buying them. My last one was Injustice 2, and that killed my interest in fighting games completely. The fun is gone and replaced with outlandish crap to memorize just to do one move, or overcomplicated mechanics that are just convoluted nonsense. I never play online because I am not competitive and know people will just wipe the floor with me using exploits and cheap crap. I frankly don’t like PVP at all, in anything. I like playing alone and against bots or the AI. I like to have fun, and fighting games used to be a lot of fun for me. But, not any more.
Playstation is pretty good with their hack prevention system. Which was 1 of the reasons they never wanted cross platform. I have played many matches online & in Kombat League on the PS5 & never encountered a cheater. Sure most people destroy me, but they are the better fighter. I win 1 out of 10 matches & that’s enough for me. I don’t find the fighting mechanics that complicated but when they start factoring in distance between characters, yeah, that is annoying.
I’m hoping for a good & more “Fleshed” out ;) Mortal Kombat 12.
Street Fighter 6 is more like Pedestrian Fighter, LOL. When compared to its predecessors, the game lacks inventiveness and feels static. It’s underwhelming due to a lacklustre character roster and repetitive mechanics. Capcom needs to boost their game and produce new, intriguing material to reignite the series’ past greatness. Fingers crossed for improvements in future versions.
