Love the SNES still own my system. I had to get a replacement AV composite cable online since the original cable that came with the system I misplace it. I spend hours playing Super Mario World, Super Mario All Stars, Donkey Kong Country, F-Zero and Star Fox just to name a few.
Did any of you like Super Punch-Out? Some people did not like it as much as the original, or Wii game, but I might like it even more. The animation is amazing and the fights flow so much better with the Power Meter being far superior to the Star Punches.
I’m a younger fellow who wasn’t around for the glory days of the SNES, but I have picked up a few games from it’s robust catalog when they were re-released on the virtual console. My favorite games on the system are Final Fight 3 and Super Metroid.
SNES was the first system I ever saved money up for and bought myself. I think it is the best system of all time.
Donkey Kong Country F-Zero, Mortal Kombat, Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball, Super Mario RPG, Zelda: A Link to the Past, Star Fox, Super Metroid, Street Fighter 2……Holy hell. Nearly a flawless selection.
I know you had to play this Jeremy.
Great system, only downside being the battery back up saves. It makes playing some of those old games now a pain since a lot of those batteries may have died out. It took the following console gen to grace us with memory cards
I love the Game Boy Advance because it’s like a portable SNES successor.
Some of my fave SNES games:
Mega Man X 1-3
DKC 1 and 2
Final Fantasy III
Zelda Link to the Past
The Ninja Warriors
Starfox
Super Punch Out
The Adventures of Batman and Robin
Super Castlevania IV
I alwyas would have the squared usa snes, saddly I miss one boxed on ebay to an affordable price, since I only play my super famicom, mostly with Dragonball games and Street Fighter 2 and 2 turbo, I have too final fight 3 and Fzero and some couple of others but saddly few
Happily I have Zelda 3 A link to the past
all my game are in japanese, since I tried to learn this language, but it’s in pause for the moment
I played a lot of Beavis and Butthead, Super Punch Out, and even Super Mario World. I loved the SNES a lot more than the Genesis as I grew up as a Nintendo fan more than a Sega fan.
