Thought it was pretty funny that the official Star Wars Twitter hasn’t said happy birthday to James Earl Jones (as of 9:30 P.M. CST) — a man who has been with the franchise since the beginning almost 44 years ago and who is also the voice of one of the most iconic cinema characters of all time, let alone being one of the most iconic Star Wars characters. What’s more funny is that they didn’t forget Kelly Marie Tran’s birthday, who has been with the franchise for a little over 3 years. I have nothing against Ms. Tran, and I hope that she’s had a great birthday today, but I find it pretty disrespectful for them to not say anything regarding Mr. Jones’ birthday, yet say happy birthday to Ms. Tran bright and early in the morning. Maybe I’m just being nitpicky though lol
Vader is the Patriarchy….Patriarchy baaaaad.
Of all the things to get triggered over, this seems like it should be very low in the list.
Refusing to say happy birthday to a legend on their 90th is just kicking them in the balls.
Yet people still wonder why I hate the rat and NOT-Lucasfilm?
It just shows how pathetic they are.
A man of color who had to overcome lots (including stuttering)…
Truly racist/sexist/ableist/SJW BS.
Not triggered, simply pointing out that they forgot the birthday of the GOAT and not KMT’s, even though they’re on the same day.
First 30 seconds: Replace the dialog about the ball and insert that Star War/Lucasfilm forgot to wish him a happy birthday and that the fans are upset… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3xVj6sQmUQ
