I’m sure most people have heard of TFS and their decision to no longer continue DBZ Abridged – Just thought I’d start a thread for sharing whatever you thought were the funniest moments they made in their decade long career.
Plenty of others to choose from but I don’t want to hog all the glory.

July 16, 2020 at 12:22 pm #178634TFS are great (I kinda just assumed everyone had heard of them at this point, but that’s more on me, lol). They were pretty average in 2008/09 when they first started (when Abridged series were all the rage on YouTube), but they really hit their stride during the Freeza arc and that’s when their popularity exploded. And Season 3 is just exceptional: It’s almost less of a parody and more of a retelling but with a humorous spin on the classic story. There’s a professional-like quality to it. It’s definitely become one of the most influential parodies in Internet culture (I noticed other parodies starting emulating their style more and more over the years).
Kinda shame they decided not to do Majin Buu, but I don’t blame them. They spent five years on the Cell arc and other side projects: Burnout is inevitable if you work too hard and at that point it’s better to call it quits while you’re ahead than put out something mediocre.

Also, the 20 hours-five minutes joke with Piccolo vs. Android 17 isn’t given enough credit.
