I think we’ve still got some. They’re from our very first tree from thirty years ago. They’re red with “Merry Christmas” on them and we’ve only still got them because I begged my mum not to throw them out because I always like them lol! The only decs I think we’ve thrown out from my childhood are Christmas tree lights that played Christmas carols. They sadly died ten years ago and 24 year old me actually broke down crying!
Some say this is the best choir in the entire world. My buddy knows of them. Not sure if it’s possible to see them live.
Look at all the pipes on the organ.
This guy is on my bucket list. I think I may have missed my one chance to see him a few years ago.
Yes I’ll be watching/listening to ‘The Polar Express’ again this year. Seriously; how is this film twenty years old??? I saw it on opening weekend lol.
@DragonLady – One of the more frustrating things used to be getting the lights in working order. You just knew when pulled from storage that at least one set would not work. Then would ensue hours of checking to find the blown bulb(s). That’s one thing I appreciate about modern LED lights. They last several seasons but geez…they’re harsh and many don’t have that smooth transition between patterns characteristic of the tungsten sets.
Another classic. There’s something magical about them…
More Christmas AMSR:
@Rikirk69 – hilarious series, love the physical comedy! The final scene in Part 3 (where they’re skating on the ice) looks like a cartoon that’s come to life.
Probably my favourite that he’s done with the ‘Sims Logic’ series. Yup that’s about right with the snowball part LOL!
@comicsgate – What a triple set! You have a knack for finding/posting media that is both appropriate and powerful.
