The Gamer Gate Stuff is depressing, what fun games are we playing?

      Currently playing Persona 3 Reload

I had to look that one up.  That’s pretty cool looking.  My daughter loves that style of game I am going to show it to her.  Thanks for mentioning it.

I also bought “Like a Dragon” on sale.  Looking for forward to it!

It’s a combination of an everyday life simulator of a japanese highschooler with JRPG battle mechanics. I don’t know how old your daughter is, but Persona 3 touches on pretty dark topics like suicide and the idea of death. Persona 5 is a more light hearted in theme, I absolutely love both games though.

I usually have a handful of main go-tos that I play most. I used to play all of the Blizzard titles – Starcraft, Diabolo, Warcraft (Wow, 3, and original Dota), Hearthstone, etc, but ever since I built my current computer, I have refused to install battle.net or anything for them. Now, I currently jump between the below:

      1. PoE (Path of Exile) – I suck at it, but is a really great title that is a true successor to Diablo. They have been running for over a decade and continue to be for the players, and with PoE 2 on the horizon, will continue to beat out Diablo.

      2. Cyberpunk 2077 – This is new for me, as I did enjoy Borderlands 1 and 2, and this has been a real joy for me to play. I never had the issues that others had since launch, and I find the story, especially the side quests, and the music to be huge draws, especially with Phantom Liberty.

      3. Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 (Open RCT2) – This was my first game, outside of my Super Nintendo, that really got me into games – fun and educational, realistic and various real-world comparisons and knowledge.

      4. Jurassic World Evolution and Lego Jurassic World – My main draws are anything in the Jurassic Park world, so these are a really common go-to for me. I love Lego Jurassic World as I can play through all of the movies. Jurassic World Evolution 1 and 2 fit with what I really wanted from a previous title Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis.

OK. I am not a gamer. Saw someone playing this on another platform.

Sand Land is an action role-playing video game developed by ILCA and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. SAND LAND is an action RPG where you become the main character as Beelzebub, a Fiend Prince. Lead your company of heroic misfits and explore the legendary world of SAND LAND created by Akira Toriyama.

Death Must Die is great. It’s like diablo meets vampire survivor and it’s getting big updates so it’s something you can enjoy well into the future. I’ve put days into that game. Highly recommend.

I’ve heard Hades 2 is really good, but I refuse to buy it because the team is woke as shit, and I’m tired of these incestuous game journos celebrating when a woke as fuck team puts out a overtly sexualized game like Hades 2, but it’s pandering to Chuds when any other game studio does it.

It’s not that I dislike playing female characters, but these days when I see them I often see an insert from teams of smarmy shit heads who hate everyone outside their bubble and I get the feeling their trying to rub “chuds” noses in intersectional subversions. This industry is just full of these fuckers: petty, weak, bullied geeks who are now lashing out every opportunity they get. They like nothing more than shitting in others’ cheerios.

If you ever got the feeling the gaming industry is full of hyper liberal assholes who despise you, you are absolutely 100% right and until the public backlash tilts against these jackasses, major corporations will continue to pander to their petulant bullshit.

Anyway, yeah Death Must Die is good, doesn’t seem woke at all. In fact from the dialogue it feels like it was created by fellow edge lords.

I play mostly older games now. I got a great META and have been having a blast modding games like Dragon Age 1, 2, and 3, Mass Effect Legendary Edition and Skyrim. I did play Hogwarts Legacy for a while, but them tossing in the tranny for social points completely dragged me out of the game.

Have you tried Ebay? I usually have pretty good luck finding older games and systems there.

I like playing grand strategy games that throw in geopolitics like the Supreme Ruler series. I took over the world with Costa Rica starting in 1936. I still play GalCiv3 (modded) occasionally.

Also is there any site setup so us indie devs who make real games, that aren’t infected with DEI, can let people know about our games? Having Kabrutus’s website DEI detected is a great step forward and we need that but I think we also need a place that lists real games which don’t have any DEI garbage.
