      This cycle happens in many countries over and over, government does for themselves and causes problems for the citizens and then promises to solve the issues for the citizens they caused and so on.

      Trudeau is deeply evil.  He cares for no life beyond his own.  This is not at all uncommon in the higher rungs of government, in fact it is beyond common.

        If he taxes the grocers they’ll just pass it on to the consumer just exacerbating inflationary pressures.

        I swear, since his wife left him he’s gotten crazier.

          He knows that and it’s the point.  For a number of reasons coming down from on high they want the people in misery. Regular inflation is not working fast enough for him he has to accelerate it.
