The Third GOP Primary debate: Vivek Ramaswamy goes after…

Vivek is awesome.  He is my current pick for president or VP.

He attacked Haley because she has moved up in the polls.  That is because she is smart and sharp. Unfortunately she is also an establishment shill and a war monger.  You could exchange Haley, Obama, Biden, Clinton and Bush during a 4 year presidential term and you would not even notice.  They are all the same.

His Tiktok comment was not below the belt.  This is modern politics, at what point we are conjuring charges so we can jail the opponent front runner, then a silly comment means nothing.

His comment was however silly, meaningless and just gave her an opportunity to jab back.  He was far better off not saying it but people make mistakes.

Vivek actually has a plan and a philosophy for everything he talks about, I have heard this from no one else.  I have not heard that much clarity in a politician in a presidential election ever with maybe the exception of Reagan.  I am not going to drag him for a single silly statement or rapping poorly.

We do need to keep reality in mind here as well.  Vivek and Hailey are not fighting over VP.  They are fighting over the oval office.  Trump will be convicted and jailed and will not be allowed to run in one fashion or another.  Not because he is guilty but because if they can make up nonsense to charge him, they can certainly make up nonsense to jail him.  Republicans will do nothing about that.  They are just democrats in republican clothing.

“Some think that Tucker is going to be the VP pick.”

I heard that and it’s probably a mention just to garner attention which if it is, fine.  But that would actually be a HORRIBLE idea.  Tucker is a great commentator and journalist.  He is almost unmatched in taking in complex information and situations and talk to the people at large about it in a meaningful way.  To remove him from that position while employing him in a job he really has no business having would be a double disaster.

“I was listening to one of the dissidents the other day and he said that Vivek is almost too perfect in every statement and word and that Vivek is like an A.I. constructed candidate almost”

If you translate that from propaganda-eese to English it means this guy is awesome and effective and I cannot find anything negative and credible to say about him so I will pull something out my butt because it’s all I have.

If Haley winds we all lose.  You might as well have elected Obama for a 3rd term.  It will end up the exact same.

“Also, I must say this about Tiktok. Our industrial base and manufacturing base was off shored to China a long time ago and China has had most favored nation trade status for about 30 years. That may have changed, but it’s not the point. Stop talking about China as a threat and war with China when boomers could not wait to ship off everything there. ”

We don’t really make anything in China that I am aware of.  They make stuff and sell it to us.  Maybe that is semantics but it’s not that we have invested in facilities in China it just that they created factories and plants to make stuff and sell it to us because they have slave labor and it’s far cheaper.

Now, the China thing did not start 30 years ago.  To my recollection that came after Bill Clinton started the globalism train with NAFTA.  That was to move car plants to Mexico and other things.  China came some time after that once globalism appeared inevitable.  And from then on everything went to China in a hurried rush, Mexico and other places.  Clothes manufacturing is as bad as anything else but that’s all in places like the Philippines.

You blame all that on boomers.  I hate that term because it now means almost nothing.  You cannot blame a whole generation for what a small group of evil politicians and business leaders did.  Every generation has had that and continues to. Everyone wants to blame that generation.  The millennials (if we are talking about a group and not individuals) are far more selfish, spineless, lost, confused and live to please themselves and society be damned.  If you think the boomer generation has laid waste to the country wait until the millennials get fully into power.   Where do you think all this woke nonsense that is ripping through the moral fabric of the country comes from and is being put into action by?  It’s not boomers.  It is millennials.   If we don’t derail this train (and there is hope) in 10 years we live with a economy like Venezuela with a government like China.

Now if you wonder if I am just generation blaming other generations.  GenX (of which I am a member) is fully to blame as well.  We helped bring woke to the forefront because we listened to the early propaganda about breaking norms and stigma.  And now that we are older and have some of the wisdom of the boomers without the confusion of the millennials and we sit back in comfort and safety and watch the world burn without so much as grabbing a bucket of water.

Most of us have played a part in what’s going on now, either through action or inaction.  No one’s hands are clean.

I don’t think he is chasing anything but solutions.  Which ,assuming he is genuine, is unheard of among politicians.  I think Trump has some good intentions but his execution was poor which was unfortunate.  Vivek I think has more grounded ideas that are tethered to an America First philosophy and he is not just spouting talking points or one-liners for YouTube clips.  I rather have him than Trump but I WOULD be happy with a Trump/Vivek ticket.  That’s a potential 12 years of positive change.

That’s why I think DeSantis was infiltrated and deliberately tanked.  Trump + DeSantis would have steamrolled everyone.

This is why Trump is so feared.  It’s not because he is some super cunning politician or a legislative warrior.  It’s because if he gets in and demolishes the establishment in anyway and that is followed by even a small increase in freedom or economic success, few would vote for the establishment again and as more populists got in then it’s a snowball rolling downhill but in a positive way.  They would spend decades reinventing themselves before they could come back.
