All of the posts I’ve seen from you tell me you are the max level of weeaboo, lol. In dire straights, Japan is doing great as a homogenous society and that works great in itself. However, the U.S. is comprised of many diverse cultures to a precipice that a change to be similar to Japan would take a millennia in order to either get everyone on the same page or gradually push out cultures that oppose us building together as a collective. In short: There are too many opposing ideologies in the states.
Personally, I would like us to be a society like Japan’s. More so though, I’d like us to be a society like Russia. Vladimir Putin is especially protective of his country and has removed Russian servers from VPNs because of the fact that so many globalists are trying to infiltrate them just like they’re trying to do to every other country on the map. He furthermore is excluding those with duo citizenships from government positions (which is much of the reason why the Democratic party in the U.S. is so fucked up) and unlike Japan, Feminism and Gay agendas are not being tolerated what-so-ever. I’ll admit that Japan has some things that are better in their society in comparison to our society in the U.S., but many can also definitely admit that Japanese men are super cucked.
Well Japan and their politicis have their own problems though. Sure, they may not have the same SJW problem (at the moment at least) but they have a ridculously high conviction rate, suicides because of outrageous work culture, some cenophobic issues because of how isolated they are and politicians trying to hide and deny the war crimes.
Every country has their own problems, some just have more and bigger ones than others
I think that’s stretching things a bit, claiming satanism is everywhere. It’s getting into conspiracy theory territory.
I think Christianity is a good base of morales and ethics, like a thumb rule in a way, but if people don’t believe in what the bible says about Jesus and don’t care about it either, it’s fine. People can do what they want and believe in what they want as long as they don’t cause harm to others or themselves.
I grew up Catholic but I don’t really believe in it. Im open to the possibility of all religions being true but religion historically was just a way for people in power to control the masses. A lot of religions have a lot in common with each other. They all have positives and negatives. But I find a lot of it to be myth and I consider all religions to be mythology. I dont consider any of them to be fact. There is a lot of really dumb things in these religions. Pretty much all creation stories are dumb. Im on the side of science.
Precisely. I’ve always found it ironic yet hilarious that the stereotypical right wing republican preaches about how they are about statistics, facts, proof, logic etc. while the leftists are about ”I think”, ”I feel like” and ”Muh feelings”.
But on the contrary, it’s the former that are strongly religious and put their faith in some unnatural force which has no evidence of existing and is about ”yeah I believe there is a God up there who magically created everything”.
I personally don’t care if you are religious or not, just don’t shove it down my throat. It’s the same with vegans. I do not believe in God, but I think acting like there is a God sets a good rule of thumb on how to behave virtuously, like the golden rule for example.
Also, throughout times, religion has been the cause of countless unnecessary deaths and bloodshed. (This went pretty off-topic but oh well)
Spoken like a true neckbeard atheist, as expected from the blue man. What about your God given rights? Are you ready to discard those from your life and walk the path of Darkness?
I live and work in Japan. I don’t have much to say on the whole political side of things, because most politicians, regardless of where you live, are blubbering buffoons, but I can throw out some good and bad points from my observations that I’ve made over the last 18 years.
Good: People respect each other. Just go to a McDonald’s or a convenience store and see what customer service is like.
Bad: Suicide. People feel tons of pressure to perform at their extreme best, which can lead to many people giving up their lives rather than living with shame. An example: A person who got Covid while in Tokyo returned to his hometown and ended up spreading the virus to some people. He felt so much dishonor and remorse for all the negative effects that this had on everybody around him, that he ended up taking his own life.
Good: Children learn to respect their elders, their belongings, and their community. Children here have to clean their own schools. That’s why you don’t see a bunch of littering and people bashing up stores and shops because they felt offended or oppressed. For those of you who know Ichiro, he had the utter most respect for his equipment. You never saw him break a bat or throw his glove.
Bad: Yeah, xenophobia does exist here, but in my years of experience, it’s been completely harmless. People will say things like “Oh, you’re so good at chopsticks” or ask you what part of America you are from just because you are white. I’ve only had a couple of encounters that got a little escalated…and there was a bit of alcohol involved. Most of the comments you get seem almost scripted, so if you can turn a blind eye to that and shrug it off, it won’t get to you.
Good: No drugs and no guns. I have a daughter, and I don’t have to worry about her getting into drugs or being shot while she is here. It’s a relief not having to worry about these things, and it makes living here a lot safer than other parts of the world.
Bad: Sexism. It exists here. It’s a male dominated society, but women still have the opportunity to work and make an impact outside of the household. I don’t know exactly how much of a wage gap there is, but women get a much longer maternity leave here than they do in the states.
Ok, I’m not saying Japan is a utopia or anything of the sort, but on a whole, I feel that there is a strong sense of respect here. I’m sure that perspective on things might be a bit skewed, seeing as how I’m an white American male, but I think many people would agree with my observations. Of course, there are many points that I haven’t touched on, but the night has grown long.
I hope that this has contributed to the conversation in an informative and positive manner.
In the end, we just have to respect and be sympathetic to those close to us.
Darkness is all around us in 2020 lol What a shit year. If there is a God he’s an ass hole
Yeah Japan is really strict against drugs, like a celebrity getting caught using any kind of drug and his/her career is over, while in other countries the celebs are taking drugs on stage and shit
Sorry about that, I know Japan isn’t a utopia since utopias don’t exists nor perfect since they were the bad guys in WW2. The reason why I said this is because of SJWs and their acts. I’m sick and tired of the instability they brought to the West’s Table.
In terms of having a no nonsense attitude against SJW, Japan is one of, if not the best country in the world
