I identify as a wizard. I like to use my invisibility spell at all times because it calms my social anxiety. But if you say you can see me not only are you a magic-phobe but I will sue you for emotional distress which I equate to violence so of course there will be jail time. My pronouns are abra / cadabra.
I bet I could pull this off in Canada or the UK.
@Vknid, i can see you, you can’t sue me for being a magic-phobe ’cause my superpower is to see what’s invisible :P
LOL touche
Okay, so I replied to the previous email I got from EA, telling me they stood by their decision, but not detailing why exactly. (Although of course, we know). Anyway, this is what I sent.
Hello,
In the previous email exchange, I had appealed a 3 day ban on my account that, by your claims, my tag name, MAGA Ramzen, had somehow violated Terms of Service and/or the Positive Play Charter. I requested details as to the nature of my ban and the notion, made by you all at EA, about the possibility of future bans. While you’ve decided that the action/actions chosen are in fact correct, there were, as you can see in the attachment, no details outlining in specifics as to the “offensive” or otherwise hurtful nature of the tag. Since in this case MAGA is indeed used as the slogan for Make America Great Again, my final conclusion to the lack of information sent my way is that this is being done by either an employee or the company as a whole, and is in fact being done so in a discriminatory way, based on my political affiliations. In light of this, I feel legal action is necessary. You will be contacted by my lawyer ASAP. Thank you, have a nice day.
Now of course I have neither the time, want, money or resources to enter such an escapade, but hey, if it scares em a little, maybe they’ll think twice in the future.
The only problem I’m having with EA at the moment is the stupid app that they basically bullied me and a lot of other users onto from origin. As a result I’m struggling trying to play on ‘The Sims 4’. Had to clear the cache and repair it TWICE within twenty-four hours yesterday and the day before. I’ve had to go onto their website in order to find out why I wasn’t able to play on ‘The Sims 4’ and I’m glad that I’m not the only one having problems with my EA related games after moving to the EA app.
I know no-one outside the internet who plays ‘The Sims’ in general (aside from my driving instructor but he’s got ‘The Sims 3’ on a old PC) and on top of it all I’ve got slight learning difficulties so I’m having to do all of this myself. I would’ve thought that they would’ve tested the EA app before bullying people off origin to make sure that it worked properly. This is the sort of stress that I can do without.
My daughter just reinstalled Sims4 with that awful launcher. I think she got it working ok. That move from the Origin app to the EA one was terrible.
Just change your name to Orange Man Rad
So, got another response from EA. It might just be me, but I think I detect a slight bit of venom on their part. So, mission accomplished.

In other words…. they are a private company who can discriminate/ban people for using words and phrases they personally don’t like.
But if you (or another company) tries to ban/discriminate against them, their terms, their agenda, etc. they will sue you for discrimination and violating the constitution.
Rules for thee, not for me.
