Trump Shot in PA

I’m neutral on Trump but I wouldn’t wish this on him. Hope he makes a full recovery.

I’m disgusted at how a lot of the media is handling this, especially the BBC. They’re trying to make a joke out of it. So glad I’m up at Scotland at the moment visiting relatives and not at the gym where the BBC is usually played on the TVs there; I might’ve been tempted to throw something at the screen in anger at their wording.

Yes, I was around for the Reagan attempt. I remember it well.

However, I wanted to say something about the reaction of people to all this, because it is pissing me off. I mean no disrespect to anyone or people, but I find some of this wrong.

here goes…

Someone was just killed for doing nothing but setting in the audience and supporting a presidential candidate. That candidate also has an attempted assassination at the same rally. It’s a horrible, sad, and frankly enraging day in the USA. So….

Why are peoples first reaction to make memes right off the bat? Or stuff like fake album covers like it’s a rap album? Seriously, that’s what people do? That’s all people can think about is making a fucking meme after a tragedy? Furthermore, why did DDAYCobra make a t-shirt about it less than two hours after it happened (live in his stream no less)? (Though, the link to it is gone now, maybe he realized it was in bad taste and took it down.) Yes, I support Jeremy, but this was in REAL BAD TASTE and BAD TIMING man. Seriously. This is not a time to “grift”, to get clicks, and or make money off tragedy folks. Someone DIED for christ sake, and Trump was literally an inch from dying himself. Yes, his reaction with “Fight” and fist in the air was brave and bold, that single image will probably be the thing to secure his election. But, this is not a time to make memes, get clicks, and make money off it. It is a time to reflect and pray. To be glad it didn’t go the other way. To feel for the family who lost someone. I just find some of the reaction to this wrong. Twitter/X was full of memes, right after it happened, and I found it utterly disgusting. It’s just as bad as people who stand around filming with their cell phone when someone is being attacked. It’s just my opinion and again, I mean no disrespect with my opinion, but I find humanity to really lack perspective when things like this happen.

What they tried to do to Trump is disgusting! The only reason the “democrats” are getting away with all the garbage they’ve done and are doing is Americans aren’t doing anything about it. If England had forced on the American colonists what the dems are doing to us and our kids currently then the decade of 1780 would have seen America sail across the ocean and burn all of England to the ground.
