When the Left gets violent, they destroy national monuments, burn down neighbourhoods and loot small businesses.
The Right directs their rage at the corrupt oligarchs that are breaking the republic just because they want to live like monarchs.
This might only be day one but it’s not comparable.

Anarchists spent all summer destroying inner cities and neoliberals gave them their full blessing, with the most vicious gaslightling about how it was all acceptable because it was in the name of racial justice. They’ve normalized this.
And even then these rebels aren’t getting all that violent. I’d call it civil disobedience.
