Talent isn’t a question with Tua – he’s one of the best college football players I’ve ever seen and he has the leadership to go with it. With that said we all know his ability to stay healthy is a major concern.
What are your expectations for Tua’s NFL potential?
As my Fins have a horrible history of picking draft picks that are injured, I am concerned. However, his injury was his hip popping out, not being broken. The lack of a solid offensive line could hurt him. I do hope he is the real deal and that the ownership gives him the tools he needs. We’ve been adrift since Dan Marino retired.
Been wanting a true star QB since Marino…hoping he can stay healthy and get my Phins the help we’ve been waiting for the last 20 years! #phinsup
Be interesting to see if the Fins get past that 6.5 over/under the oddsmakers are laying on them.
Fingers crossed! I so miss Dan the Man.
I think Tua has all the potential in the world to be the next Dan Marino, but I believe Joe Burrow will be the best QB in this year’s class.
I feel like he can be a pretty decent quarterback overall, I just need to see him with a better supporting cast to cast my opinion on him first.
What do you mean by “better supporting cast”? Our WR core is one of the most underrated in the league. Parker had a fantastic year and even destroyed the Defensive MVP Stephon Gilmore last year in Foxboro. WIlliams, Grant and Wilson just need to stay healthy and they are all studs. Gesicki was having a break out at the end of the year last year. Just wait until they actually start playing this year before you discount the rest of the offense…
Now if you’re criticism is about our OL…well I totally understand that argument…lots of young guys that need to get their NFL legs under them first…
Tua Tagovailoa is an amazing person and an amazing athlete. He is the best Alabama quarterback that I have seen played college football during the Nick Saban era. After watching his games from the beginning of his collegiate career to the end of his collegiate career, I can say that he will be one of the best quarterbacks in Alabama history all-time. With that being said, I believe that Tua Tagovailoa will have a short NFL career something in the 4 to 5 year range. I do not believe that he can stay health enough to retire without an injury ending his career. I hope that I am wrong and that Tua Tagovailoa wins a Super Bowl for the Miami Dolphins but I just do not see it. Thanks for the topic, Jeremy and chat.
I mean like a stacked team besides the quarterback, like the bears for instance. If the bears had a decent quarterback they could be one of the best teams in the league
