What are some movies that you absolutely love but we’re poorly reviewed or they never had a lasting impact?
One of my childhood favorites is Cloak and Dagger. It’s frustrating that they never released it on Blu-Ray.
I don’t know about loving it, but I do like the Wing Commander film.
The live-action Alvin and the Chipmunks films I’ve always had a soft spot for. Even though I know they’re absolutely terrible, I grew up watching them, so I just love them because of the nostalgic connection I have to them
I’ve never seen it, but I avoided it due to bad reviews. I may give it a look soon. My only beef with it so far is the casting I don’t know why they didn’t get Mark Hamill or Tom Wilson.
Absolutely loved Pixels. Killer theme song too…:)
Waka Flocka Flame – Game On (feat. Good Charlotte) [from Pixels – The Movie] (Official Video)
Terror Toons, 1st and 2nd film.
Alvin and the Chipmunks.
The early DCEU films: Man of Steel, BvS, and Suicide Squad. I’d take those three films over probably half of the MCU.
I liked Man of Steel for the most part. I expected it to be a lousy film but overall it was good.
I liked what I saw in the trailer, but I never got around to seeing it.
Batman Forever. I don’t like how Tim Burton’s vision wasn’t continued, but I really enjoy what we got non-the-less. I even liked Val Kilmer as Bruce and Batman.
I have mixed feelings about the Tim Burton films. One one hand I think he’s freaking weird and grim. One the other hand I think he captured Batman the best of all the films so far. I’m about to start a discussion about this but I’ll go ahead and say it. I don’t like Christopher Nolan or his Batman films. (My honest opinion)
Moving onto Batman Forever. There were quite a few things I liked about it, but at the same time the villains didn’t work for me.
