Movie Yoda was weak. He couldn’t beat Emperor Palpatine in a fight and he lost against Count Doku (Doku got away and the war continued), he didn’t see the sith plan, the jedi were all destroyed, he allowed Anakin to be trained despite his objections…
I don’t think Yoda was weak, i think Yoda’s story shows that no matter how strong or wise you are, you can still f**k up, if anything, i think Yoda was a bit overconfident in himself and the Jedi way in the prequels
Dooku escaped, so we will never know who would’ve won that fight, but usually escaping means you’re afraid you might lose
“he didn’t see the sith plans” yeah, that was pretty idiotic
The problem isn’t that he allowed Anakin to be trained, it’s that he didn’t know how to help Anakin when he needed it most
Unfortunately so much was left out of the movies compared to the EU.
The jedi were blinded to the dark side because there was Sith temple under the jedi temple. After Luke rebuilt the temple and was destroyed again did they find the hidden Sith Temple.
Even though Yoda faught the Count, he still technically lost because he got away & the war continued. They could have skipped the fight and shown jedi battle meditation and how effective it was, but Lucas left it out 😿
If I was in Yoda’s shoes I would have said no to Anakin’s training
I don’t know much about the EU, but i knew about the hidden Sith temple, and i get how that could’ve clouded the Jedi’s vision
What i would’ve done if i was in Yoda’s shoes would be to do my research, figure out why Anakin was behaving the way he was, and eiher help him myself, or find someone who was capable of helping him, without being so ridgid in the Jedi way
– Jake Lloyd was perfectly fine as Anakin.
Prequels are really great.
Building the Jedi temple over a darkside nexus want the brightest of options. They really thiought it wouldnt cloud their judgement?
I think it was first brought up in the novels of the prequels. I know it was mentioned in one of the clone war era EU books but its been a while since I read that era.
Revenge of the Sith was better than A New Hope and Return of The Jedi.
Ewokes represented the Viet Cong for the time of political messages in Star Wars.
Jar Jar Binks could have been one of the best Characters in the entire PT if George wouldn’t have broken him. And just had the balls to make him what he should have always truly been. The secret Sith that played the fool and managed to sway the senate to empower Lord Sidous.
Baby Yoda will be used to bring some fans back only to betray them by making the new show go even more woke than it already is. Baby Yoda is evil!
Lucas should have left the OT alone. He didn’t need to make all those CGI changes. I liked the OT for what it was before it was “remastered”.
Example: Having Han talk to Jabba The Hut in the docking bay made Jabba look like some kind of chump and took away from his mysterious nature. Made Jabba seem like he could just be pushed around by some smuggler human who was clearly beneath him. Just another smuggler employee. Only later did we learn Han was one of his more favored servants. You don’t just step on the tail of a crime boss, and expect that not to be taken as a great gesture of disrespect. (Ever seen how some folks get when you step on their shoes or scuff them?)
George Lucas shares in the blame for selling his life’s work to white slavers.
Just for starters that is my small list. (More later when I am up to it) Don’t get me started on the Jabba Palace singing non sense. But over all I think people agree how bad that was.
Mister Bones. My favorite Clanka Droid! Bones was a heavily modified B1-series battle droid with a murderous personality. He was constructed by Temmin Wexley and built from components the boy scavenged from the catacombs beneath Myrra, the capital city of Akiva.
I want the action figure 🤩🤩🤩
So, if people agree on how bad Sy Snootles’s performance was, i guess it’s an unpopular opinion that i actually enjoyed it 😁
Well, I don’t know if this is unpopular or not, but I don’t think Force Healing has any place outside of video games. It was my least favorite part of The Mandalorian.
At least it made more sense in Mandalorian than in Rise Of Skywalker 😁
That’s only because nothing in Rise Of Skywalker made sense!
You’re right, though, and I should probably note that I would have been sad if they’d killed off Carl Weathers, so I guess it worked out in the end.
I got 2 unpopular Star Wars Opinions.
1.George Lucas shouldn’t install the chosen one element to the Prequel Trilogy and Star Wars instead make Anakin a potential Force User. Change the reason of why Qui-Gon and Jedi recruited Anakin which is the Jedi want to increase their numbers.
2.All Star Wars Fans need to consume more Anime, Manga, Tokusatsu, and Alternative as well as follow them more. Although there are some Star Wars Fans that doing and some Star Wars that aren’t.
