I knew this was because of money and I did not understand the mechanics of it until I heard Grummz explain it.
You are not typically going to invest in a project solo. And so you take on investors. And when a BlackRock or State Street shows up to give you millions for a project, it allows the project to move forward. But they only give you the cash if you agree to their demands. Understand what that means. You end up only able to make a game because an entity who wants woke stuff gave you the cash. So yeah, the game might not do totally awesome but if you make a profit, it’s still a profit.
Large corporations typically only care about the numbers and not the quality of their products. And that’s why you keep getting woke nonsense.
Don’t buy stupid garbage. Support the devs who care about what they do.
And for God sakes stop buying Madden.
