I don’t know if there’s already a topic for it here (sorry if there is one😳) but if not, I thought I’d create one in time for the trailer:
I’m a bit confused as to why we ended up with the first Venom film as a 15 and ten minutes of extra footage in the UK (not that I’m complaining😂) and yet the US ended up with the opposite and a watered down PG-13 rating. It had also been the same for Suicide Squad a few years earlier. I’m not ashamed to say that I liked both films even though Venom for me started out slow but got better once the symbiote was in him. Maybe it’s because I’m no Spider-Man fan (thanks for our 12a rating Spidy😡!) but I do find the Venom-verse more interesting than the MCU. Especially considering the direction the MCU is going in atm. Hopefully the Venom-verse will be going in the opposite direction.

Honestly, I found the first movie to be a bit slow paced, but I love Venom and can’t wait to see this in theaters

This trailer looks weird and not in a good way.

They are trying too hard to be like Guardians of the Galaxy on the humour level, it takes away from what Venom is.
Time will tell if it works in this film or not.
