Put your video game ideas here
Yeah right, would you like my bank account details as well? LOL
Maybe change the topic to what are you looking for in a game?
Then we’re just talking generic stuff. I mean, I have a wish list of themes I’d like to see in both RPGs and strategy games.
I thought people might want to share ideas. I mean how many people are actually going to make a video game? I just thought it could be a interesting discussion.
Yeah I was just thinking that. hehe The video game ideals I have I must keep close to the chest now a days. These companies are so bankrupt they have their little minions going into places like these to steal and collect other people’s ideas. Then warp them with a twist of their own agenda. IE Tardigrade game
But there are some things I can share that have already been crushed by big companies that caught wind of what I was doing.
So the one video game idea I was working on was an open world RPG Zombie game that used used google Earth as the map system. Graphic wise it wasn’t anything to write home about, as most the game functioned in text and hand drawn ideas that was drawn from using google map locations.
The amount of work on this project was very staggering as the only way I was able to run it with a few friends was being doing most of the work on the fly in the locations they ended up in. Now in the state that it was it was more of a table top RPG that used Google maps as resources for tracking location and movement across the map. The rest of it was done like a game of D&D. But with my own whole custom system.
Which if I was to put that in here no one would read it and it would be like 30 pages long. But could have been transferred into video game format.
I started working on this back in 2012.. Here is the link to when I started it. http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread905538/pg1
You can also Google it, still comes up as I got a cease and desist letter from Google warning me. I was like well.. that was something at least. lol
But yeah, really don’t feel safe sharing any of my current work ATM.. NO offense. I really wish I could.
But will be looking for testers soon. So there is always that, reach out to me in a private message if interested.

There’s nothing wrong with that, but I can see where accidental_chaos may be coming from. We are a community coming from all reaches of the Fandom Menace, Comicsgate, and elsewhere. That means there are lots of creatives out there looking for a chance to partner with others here or get their IPs noticed for projects. Therefore, no one is going to put something out there that might be ninja’d. I don’t think it was meant you would do it, but not everyone is looking for honest conversation. I mean, as an example, I’m not about to share the contents of my IPs and details of what I plan to do with them with anyone I don’t know.

—-Something is going on here.. I hope this is posting tons of the same message here… Won’t post.. Or just disappears.
My post is an example of why people would be very hesitate to do this. Google took the idea I had and started working on other games that followed suit.
Mind you this was 2012, so when they hit me with the C&D letter they got their hands on most of my ideas.
Thankfully I have not seen a zombie version of Ingress pop up since.. Otherwise I would really kick myself.
Us artists have to be very very careful these days if we wish to hold onto anything we do have from these snakes.

You start as a lowly clerk working for a HUGE games company called EgAy and through hard work (well, backstabbing) and using Microsoft excel, you work your way up the corporate ladder. Level one sets out the games karma system where you have to either help or hinder your best friend and colleague. If you choose to help? Game over, and that colleague continues.
There are 2734682346 levels between (all paid DLC) but the gist of it is at the very end of the game you are browsing the web and stumble across a games forum, lets call it ……. Greeks and Flamers, and you steal all the game ideas, make millions, and become the head of EgAy.
Credits roll.
I always wanted a fighting game like Injustice, Tekken or Soulcalibur but with athletes and celebrities. I think it would be kind of funny. Tiger Woods using a golf club as his weapon vs Wayne Gretzky with a hockey stick. A fighting game with celebrities would be cool.
Edit: Decided not even to joke about putting this idea out.
Chances are they would take it and run all the way to the bank.
A_C Yep this right here. You are 100% right.
Thus anything I put in here is already scrapped and has no chance to be stolen. Google owns the rights now anyway. So they must have it sitting in a file cabinet guarded by TOP MEN.
If I had the money to pay people to do it I would write a sci-fi game that plays similar to Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon but a bit darker with a more serious anime style, it would be M-Rated for some sexual content and violence, it would most likely not be approved by Sony.
The story is already in my head, it started many many years ago as a DBZ fanfiction but eventually I removed everything DBZ and made it its own thing. With all the ideas I have I could write a 5 chapter long game with origin episodes for several characters.
That’s all I will write about it reading the previous posts, these leeches ain’t get shit.
Black Lives Ratter, a game where people race rats, loots power ups, and call the police when some shoots them.
