I certainly had my issues with Forces. Wasn’t as bad as 06, but it was a let-down in how it failed to live up to its potential. An incomplete, underdeveloped story and with levels that focused on quantity instead of quality. So many missed opportunities.
I still sort of like this soundtrack unironically, though. Is this the kind of music Gen Z kids listen to, these days?
The Light of Hope (end credits theme)
Phew, that pretty much covers the main series. Kinda got quite carried away, and figured I’d keep going all the way. Anyway, I’m taking a break from Sonic songs for now just to give other video games a fair hearing.
>Be a low-level scrub.
>Get ass kicked by Shadow the Hedgehog.
>Swear to get revenge by becoming edgier than him.
>Put on a dumb mask.
>Get revenge on Sonic (???).
Infinite was kind of a lackluster antagonist, but I’m a sucker for characters like him. I actually hope he comes back. There aren’t too many animal villains in the Sonic franchise. Done right, he could be a good arch-nemesis for Shadow.
Ghirahim: Round I
Ghirahim: Round II
Man, I loved Skyward Sword. I’d say it had one of best well thought-out stories in a video game.
The last two bosses in Skyward Sword were amazing, regardless of difficulty. Nintendo went all out in making the finale as climatic as possible.
I know where that picture is from, all i will say is that after i watched that it rained for the next couple of days…
Groose wasn’t just funny, he had some of the best character development too. He is the Anti-Gaston.
I loved the differences in gameplay between the challenges on the surface versus the more relaxed experience of exploring the sky. Skyloft was a great hub world to take breaks between missions.
Move over, Captain Picard.
