Metroid Prime still stands the test of time after all these years. One of the best sci-fi games ever made.
That last Metroid Prime soundtrack reminds me of the music from Code Lyoko Quest For Infinity, i have this game on PSP
Listened to some Dagashi Kashi OST that reminded me of music from Super Mario DS
Speaking of Super Mario, i remember doing an all nighter playing Super Mario Wii, i was on the last few levels of world 8, played 7 hours straight, and finally completed it, at 7 in the morning 😁🎮 Then i watched Spider-man Homecoming ’cause i was in the middle of my MCU binge watch in preraretion for Endgame
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
Hauntingly atmospheric for a hostile, alien world. These games were perfect in their sense of isolation.
Really like the Torvus Bog track
Even better when mixed with rain and thunder, like out of the game itself.
Bonus: Torvus Bog Subterranean Underground with underwater ambience.
Metroid Prime 1’s Bosses: Big, but nothing special. Persist, and you will bring them down.
Metroid Prime 2’s Bosses: Absolutely screen-filling. Where is your God now?
Started playing Fantastic 4, i got it on PS2, soundtrack’s great 🎮🎵
Metal gear solid 3, Halo reach, Xing the land beyond ,FFX, Golem ,Destiny, Blood and truth, Little nightmares, Skyrim, Medal of honour frontline main theme, God of war, Spider man . These all have great soundtracks.
Dark Samus: Still one of the most unforgettable bosses in video games.
Got the Metroid II remake for 3DS recently, brought back memories of the Metroid I remake on GBA all those years ago.
Nintendo expanding the original game with an entirely new act geared around stealth was also a brill move on their part. Few remakes do this and do it well.
Samus’ Counter-Attack – After spending so long running away and evading the pirates, it was one of hell reprieve to get all your powers back and go fucking nuts.
