People have already mentioned Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Mass Effect, but I wanted to add the Tomb Raider soundtracks, specifically Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness.

I believe I had heard of this game (Ruiner) not too long ago, but did not realize it had an electronic soundtrack. I think the music featured in this video sounds pretty good, and after listening to it for the first time, I think the game would seem more interesting to try out. Thanks for sharing!

This was my first time listening to some of the music featured in Ace Combat 7, in the embedded video. I thought it sounded good, and didn’t know this game had that style of music. The only game in this series I have played is Ace Combat Advance for the GBA, which has a very electronic and chiptune-ish soundtrack.

hey man, I loved the game. The music while you’re playing it’s so good. It really fits the fighting gameplay and the Cyber Punk theme. But the game was kinda short thou. I wish they make a new one. Cheers

Lots of great ones out there, but I’d have to give Chrono Cross the edge.

Bungie’s Halo soundtracks are terrific, and I find myself agreeing with a lot of the responses here. A few I would mention would be the soundtracks to the Batman: Arkham series by Nick Arundel and Christopher Drake.

In particular, I love some of the tracks for Arkham City, the main theme is epic and certainly sets the tone, but some of the atmospheric tracks used in free roam are perfect for ambience. The tracks “Refusal Will Not be Tolerated” and “I Know What You Guys Are Thinking” have this amazing mysterious feel that fits remarkably well with traversal through the decaying streets of Old Gotham.

Arkham Origins has a very cinematic soundtrack, with heavy brass and percussion and it fits terrifically well during the many boss battles scattered throughout the game.

A nice piece from one of the best games released in the last few years. Also pissed off all the right people, which is always a nice bonus!
