It’s pretty bad when a fan made short can capture the feel of a live action movie but yet no studio is able to put something decent together. Pacific Rim, the Legendary Godzilla movies, and even Ready Player One with the Gundam Scene proves that a live action Voltron can be done and look good. Unfortunately, we have too many idiots running the studios nowadays that the story would be trash.
Back in the early 2000s, someone sent me a pdf of a Voltron movie script written by Justin Marks (the guy who wrote the Chun Li movie screenplay) and it SUCKED. I did a full review of the script on my Voltron website and I couldn’t believe some of the stuff they wanted to do with it. I’m very happy that no one ever went through with it.
