Voting at 16!

I have a counter-proposal – mandate a military draft for everyone the moment they come of voting age! Let’s see how many of them will want to bring down the voting age then! Two years service including basic training and self-sufficiency skills, border patrol, coast guard duty and one year police service in the inner-cities! The second year instead of being a cop can optionally be substituted with two years being a security guard at a max security prison. And instead of getting a salary their salary is all automatically donated to African Americans for reparations!

That’s what all the former liberal 18 and 19 year-olds would say coming out of their two or three year ordeal where the only thing they have to show for is that the fruit of their labor all went to people who didn’t earn it. That’s how you make conservatives early on.

Or at least make voting a privilege that is earned by either having served in the military (at some point in the past or presently) or by presently paying taxes.
