Reaction To Mike Tyson VS Jake Paul Fight, Plus Mike Talks To A Kid LOL Man yesterday was the most let down day of the year so far.
I cleared my entire day to watch the match of the Decade between Mike Tyson & Jake Paul. Throughout the day, I kept getting the wrong schedule for the fight. I was actually going to live stream the reaction with the video playing in the background. It was supposed to start at 1am, but it started earlier. I caught the last 3-4 minutes. In the end Jake Paul beat the Legend , I was upset but I did not want to call foul. So I congratulated him as I decided to watch the match & rate the fight like a pro. Honestly, Jake did very well. Not many people would get in the ring with Mike, at any age.
Mike unfortunately was not in his Killer mode & I noticed it during His entrance. Then he started very well, not a Killer but alright. But by the 3rd round, I knew it was over. Jake is big, fast & strong. Trust me, when I was 250 pounds of muscle, I could destroy a 250 pound Body Punching Bag. I cannot state how impactful it is getting hit by a strong 250 pound man. Mike did go all 8 rounds but each round was worse & worse but he still pulled through.
In the end, he showed a lot of respect to Mike in front of millions of watchers in the arena & at home when he Bowed to him in respect at the final moments of the fight. That showed a lot of humility from the very arrogant “Problem Child” Congrats to both & I don’t care what others say, it was a great match & YES, Jake was pulling his punches. Lastly, sorry about the video, I had to be in the center taking up the most space to avoid copywrite issues, this is fair use but I have to do things to avoid problems. Also, the video is only up to the 6th round, I didn’t know if I would be allowed to upload the entire fight.
Sorry again, but it is what it is. Now regarding the Prime Energy Drink “Ice Pop”, that was nasty. It tasted fine drinking it but after I swallowed it, all I tasted was Beyers Aspirin. Nasty, very chalky. Lastly, I included a meme at the end, after the fight with one of my favorite youtubers, Pastor Jesse Lee Peterson where Mike Tyson gets interviewed by a 13 year old girl to impart some sage Wisdom LOL, it was hilarious. Also, let’s get Jesse Lee Peterson to get Mike to release his interview. It would be amazing. What are your thoughts on the fight?
Thanks for watching.
This was an utterly boring and lackluster fight. Mike looked stiff as a board and kept wincing if you watched. Something was…off imo. I had my dad come over and we watched all the fights, we were both very disappointed. The women fighters were better.
Mike Tyson was amazing 30 years ago. Top action fighter of all time. Always fireworks. His daughter might be the next Serena Williams. She’s way into tennis. Once Tyson go KOd, he was done. Nothing wrong with that. He was an all time fan favorite. I was also into Roy Jones Jr. a lot, who I think actually threw a major fight when he was pushing 40 years old. Both guys were loved by fans just for being real guys.
Both Manny Pacquiao and Oscar De La Hoya want to do this. They both want to comeback. I admire that they both still have the desire to compete. Drew Bress, the quarterback, said he can’t even lift his arm anymore, let alone throw with it. He said if he could still be out there, he would be. Some have trouble letting go. I used to really love this stuff. My dad was a huge fan of Roberto Duran. In the opposite way, I admire Prince Naseem Hamed and Khabib for retiring at about 30. Prince took one loss and left. Khabib retired at 28. The men can have full careers but I read something upsetting the other day that said, that really, a man’s athletic peak is before the age of 25. I know that anabolic phase lasts until mid 30s and then, the hormones drop off, which is why you saw Kobe, Jordan, etc. all retire at 36. 36 is like a magic wall number. So, sometimes, I like guys who even call it quits before 35.
The only reason I mention all of this is that I think that the minds become more powerful than the bodies. There is a reason wars are fought by teens and 20s. You might want to tell men to live in reality.
The moment I saw Mike walking out to enter the ring, I saw right away that he was not in Killer mode. He had a somber look about him.
Yes he got paid well for the fight, but I don’t think he threw the match, he has too much pride. I do think they negotiated a no knockout fight, for both parties. Tyson is almost 60 & a knockout could severely impact his live at this age & Jake likely did not want to get knocked out by Mike, because he knew that it could mess his brains more than they already were lol.
Negotiations were clearly made. But I think when he walked out, the gravity of this match hit him, not because he was fighting Jake Paul, no, because this was potentially his last fight & he would never experience this feeling again. He is a fighter through & through even on his off days he is still 70% On. Time is the killer we will never escape. We all have to face that one day.
Mike was working with a bad knee as well & that crippled him in the ring, especially when he had to chase Jake around. Jake saw the advantage. The fight was a real fight, either one of them could have won, in my opinion. Mike would not lose a major fight like this, not his legacy. I saw many moments of frustration in Mike’s face & his glove biting was a clear sign of that frustration. He has bit his gloves in the past but they were rapid split second bites of aggression, the animal mode in him. This match, the bites were big & lasted longer, frustration. Frustration that he was not performing as he wanted to or as he capable as he actually was, but that knee was his undoing.
I do strongly believe that if he didn’t have that knee issue, he would have closed many more hits & would have battered down Jake. Speed & stamina were on Jake’s side. They both went the full 8 rounds. Short as they were, they were all completed. Time could have played a big factor as well, it was 12:30 am eastern when they started, why not earlier?
I think Jake did very well, a lot better than many expected him to do. He did bow to Mike in front of Millions of viewers around the world & that showed a lot of respect & humility. I am certain Mike noticed that.
Post fight people were upset with Jake’s attitude saying he pulled his punches… why are you upset? I a certain he did. If they had a no knockout clause, of course the would have BOTH been pulling their punches. There are health regulations both parties have to go through. I wanted Mike to win as well, but they both did great.
Logan pissed me off though. I found he was disrespectful when Mike joked around with him & I get the feeling that he is jealous of Jake, his little brother.
Jake could do great things with the right guidance & I think he might be on track, moreso than Logan. I was shocked to discover that Jake was a trump supporter.
I might do a reaction video to his actual data research video he did discussing why Camalla was not the right choice.
Let’s hope for the best from him, because he could be a positive influence & lord knows we need that today for our youth.
A different take on it all. The article says it’s some kind of humiliation ritual. Will say this, Iron Mike is one of the toughest fighters in history and I suspect that he was set-up, drugged and put on meds throughout his career, in order to be exploited for others to make money off of, and this case was no different.
Well, you were right.
The most live-streamed sports event in history, so far.
