April 11, 2021 at 1:10 am #217450In the middle of quite a few of the ones that came out this winter, but put a pause on that so that I could let them finish up their runs and then binge what was left. There are just too many good ones and I don’t want to wait a week to see what happens to these characters. So I’m going back and watching some older ones. Finishing out Queen’s Blade right now. Don’t judge lol Then I think I’ll go to either Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero or Isuca (I love anything with yokai).

A really good Slice of Life Anime.
Ist episode- if you love riding a motorcycle this first episode will bring back all the memories you have of the first day getting your bike home. The building obsession and realisation of what this vehicle represents in your life.
If you’ve never ridden a motorcycle before, this may give you that extra push or at least some sense of what happens to a motorcyclist when we get our first bike.
The character in this episode is quiet, shy and independent. The whole episode is gentle and shows the creeping joy in life when a new interest is discovered when everything else was bland and repetitive.
The characters voice combined with the music is a good match to the quiet nature of the character and her growing excitement in riding her Super Cub.
The animation and colour pallet is subdued and is a good match to the spirit of this quiet episode.
