Who Are You Listening To Recently?

Never saw that show. That’s right, Paul from Dune, Kyle MacLachlan, is in that show. Read the plot recently and it does sound interesting. Quick story about that, but there is a place I would always drive by that looked like a log cabin that said Twin Peaks, so it was a bar and restaurant. Drove by it for years and finally went in, and the Twin Peaks was kind of another term for a Hooters style restaurant. So, I was kind of surprised.

Another story, but I used to go to a local brewery that made their own microbrews, where one can order Growlers and Crowlers and Flights of different beers. There was a lady bartender there who said she’s been a bartender her whole life. Anyway, I asked her if she had any Tavern music, and she asked, what’s a Tavern?

Occasionally, I listen to Nerdrotic and Critical Drinker talk about how the ideal pub has to be Victorian and at least a 100 years old and, for some reason, it made me a bit sentimental. They really get it.

So, Nerdrotic won the race to a million. Surprised that Dan didn’t team up with other big metal channels to jam with.
Maybe Vasc could have signal boosted some really good metal songs that are not well known. You’d think metal bands out there would just have Dan cover their songs for cross promo purposes. When DV gets really into it, I can feel the inspiration and the gut check. IMO, that is what the world is missing. That reach for the sky, kiss the sky type of euphoria, oh whatta feeling, that music used to have.
Kind of surprised Ozzy or Alice Cooper have not reached out to Dan, or maybe Zakk Wylde.
