I am not at all upset about this.  But it is just an observation and I am not sure what it might mean.

For decades, I recall that EVERY time their was even a whisper of upset in the middle east gas prices would go up overnight.  And the longer that unrest went on the worse it got.

So how in the heck do we have a full scale war with potential of the entire middle east erupting and gas has stayed entirely stable?

I know we have no real sway over OPEC, they have told Biden to go F himself in the past.  So if this price stability is not organic I cannot figure how it’s being done.  The Biden admin was , prior to this, selling off the oil reserves in massive amounts to quell fuel prices but last I heard it had all but been drained and even then the price kept creeping up.

Now if this is organic maybe it is due to the Trump admin having encouraged local drilling and discovery. Biden has done the opposite but that I think was only for new wells.  But even if this is the case then why did we get near $5 a gallon previously.

I just cannot make sense of this and it must indicate something but I don’t know what.
