One of the greatest, if not THE greatest World Cup Final matches of all time. Real edge of the seat stuff after France scored their first goal in the last 10 minutes of normal time.
So happy for Lionel Messi. Not sure if it makes him the GOAT, but he deserves it.
To be Argentinian tonight must be a great feeling!

I’ve always though having winning the world cup as a criteria of being the GOAT is silly as people who dominate the sport but are born in a bad football country would have no chance to claim the title. So I’ve always thought there’s no GOAT discussion as Messi clearly is the one but now that he even won the WC it gives a symbolic crown and seals the deal. No excuses anymore.
