As Halloween approaches, it is time to revisit the old horror classics & figure out what happened to Freddy Krueger and a Nightmare on Elm Street. The nightmare continues in Part 2 of the Yeticast Halloween Special! https://youtu.be/XnhmfHFkV-4

I think fans of Geeks and Gamers will enjoy my cynical and humorous reviews. Part 2 goes through movies 3-6 as I work my way through the series to crack a few jokes, give a bit of analysis and ultimately, try to figure out what happened to the horror icon.

What are your thoughts on the series?

You do know you can copy the url into the reply.

I did not know I could. lol. All I saw was the insert link and it would just show the url when pasted. Did you use the embed url to get the video to show up? I apparently suck at using computers.

When you open your tab with your u-tube vid, on the click right-click, select “copy video URL”, then in the G&G reply you will need to right-clip and select paste.

Sometimes the paste option does not show up right away,  Just right-click again till it shows.

Using the Insert link, you will get the hyperlink, but not the thumbnail for the video.

    Hope that helps.

And yes, each new film in the franchise, but ignoring canon of the previous films, ruins them.

Cheap writing to overcome their cheap plot lines, so create a cheap solution.

Thanks for letting me know how to post actual video links. It is way too obvious and a total boomer moment for me!

I agree with you, ignoring the canon cheapens the sequels and breaks continuity. In part three I am working on Wes Craven’s New Nightmare which is a breath of fresh air when it comes to developing a cohesive story and overcoming bad writing in the previous films.

I see you were about to use that trick in your “Part 2”.

Glad I was able to help.

And yes, usually getting someone else, especially with one with a rep like Wes Craven, does re-freshen a franchise.

Can’t wait for your review on them.
