I get it. In this modern culture, influence is king. Some people feel the need to do what is necessary to differentiate themselves to get attention which in turn makes them feel good…that is until someone else one ups them.
But to risk blindness in the pursuit of such “happiness” in what is a cosmetic rather than medical procedure seems to defy reason.
January 21, 2024 at 8:08 pm #312042It’s the misinformation of the modern age, spread far and wide by unsocial media. Do what makes you feel good to the detriment of everything else. This is nothing but a long term recipe for unhappiness and I think it is obvious this is now proven. Life is not about you, it never was.

There was that show Nip Tuck, but I never watched it. They say every famous person you know has had work done, whether they say so or not, even the ugly people on TV. That was one thing I liked about The Wicher show was when Yennifer sterilized herself in exchange for great beauty and power. To me, it all starts with the lips. Once I see a lady get her lips injected, it seems to go downhill from there. I’ve seen these young pretty things ruin themselves with plastic surgery. There are gals in Brazil that die from it all the time, the rear end surgeries. These people make themselves to plastic, that dolls might seem more realistic than people eventually. Either one will make me walk the other way.

Erin Moriarty (Starlight from “The Boys”) jumped on the bandwagon. I couldn’t believe it, she was such a beautiful woman.
Now she looks like a washed up Porn Star.

January 23, 2024 at 9:26 am #312100It’s ironic because her character in the show hates being sexualized by corporate. Sure actors and actresses are usually different in real life, but she seems to be the complete opposite in this case.
January 23, 2024 at 12:03 pm #312101@DragonLady Very rarely do the results look natural. I always wonder if these people pass along these “flawed traits” to their children would they “encourage” them to have similar procedures?
Madonna is another one, she looks like a ghoul.
@Nintendrilo to be honest she wasn’t aging well. You could see the changes throughout the seasons but I’m certain fans would’ve been forgiving of that. My guess is she was influenced and succumbed to peer pressure — completely understandable in that sort of environment but also extremely sad.I wish her the best.
