June 19, 2020 at 4:10 pm #167251Has to be the original. Parts II and III are fantastic, and the trilogy itself is top-notch. But the original is a perfect movie. It needs no sequel, despite its ending’s hint at more to the story.

Speaking of which, as I was watching it today, I realized that Doc Brown’s mind reading device in 1955 actually worked. He stated Marty came from a great distance (30 years is a great distance), he asked if Marty was there to sell a newspaper subscription (Marty grabbed a newspaper to confirm the date) and then asked if Marty was there to ask for a donation (Marty donated to the Clock Tower Fund in 1985). Doc just didn’t understand the references that he was getting from Marty’s mind.

I rank MJ Fox up there with: Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, Jackie Chan, Tom Cruise, Gene Kelly, etc. Michael J. Fox was very athletic in a petite body, like a gymnast. On Camera, those are the best guys.
