I always knew this song was about the IRA and the terror they committed. But it did not strike me until recently what the chorus means.

I find this very poignant in today’s world as there are many “zombies” present day.

The Irish Potato famine claimed a million.The thing that bothers me about the present day zombies is that it’s been life long conditioning starting at the youngest ages in schools and media.
I do remember Ireland passing their abortion laws and seeing all the women singing “What’s goin On?” by 4 Non Blondes, which was Linda Perry. Linda Perry was once married to Sara Gilbert, who was on Roseanne’s show.
The current Prime Minister of Ireland is a homosexual named Leo Varadkar. Here he is talking about how he wants more government authority positions to go to people based on their skin tone and skin color. Zombies have been taught since the cradle that this is just dandy.

Agreed, and the issue there is I know people will challenge new information as it comes in but people typically don’t challenge old information they learned long ago. So this propaganda they succumbed to early on is not questioned very often.
And on top of that people have also been conditioned in the last decade to NOT question authority. In fact (and it’s happened a few times to be recently) even conservative people will hear you simply question the narrative and say “that’s a conspiracy theory”. Which is insane when I have given no theory, I simply question. They repeat the word like a dog sits for a treat.
Any movement that seeks to change the current paradigm needs to free people from their mental shackles. This can be done but there can be no aggression in it and the right examples must be chosen.
