Wednesday Season 2 Heads to Ireland

Deadline reports that Wednesday season 2 will be filmed in Ireland. Season 1 was filmed in Romania. The series aims to begin production in April. Following the first season’s massive success on Netflix last year, Wednesday got a season 2 order back in January. This unique take on The Addams Family follows Wednesday Addams as she “attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore.”

I never finished season 1 of Wednesday because someone spoiled the ending for me, which led me to lose interest. I actually enjoyed the first four episodes, though. I didn’t think Wednesday was amazing or groundbreaking, but from what I saw, it was fun enough. I hope season 2 brings the same spooky snark fans loved the first time around.
